WHO ARE THE BANYARWANDA?
Banyarwanda is the second biggest tribe in Uganda . They are a group people with origins of Rwanda and speak a similar language with a common prefix “RA” and include tribes such as Ankole, Bachiga and Bafumbira . Some other tribes such as the Batooro Bahima, Batwa also have the Bunyoro origins. However they are not entirely Rwandan ,history has it that they are believed to have been part of the Bunyoro Kitara kingdom in 500AD.

The Banyarwanda is a name given to them because of the similar language to that of the people from Rwanda. And also because of the their facial appearance similarity to the Rwandese
The Ankole or Banyankore are the second biggest tribe in Uganda after the Baganda and are the biggest in Western Uganda . They speak a language called Runyankore and are mainly centred around districts of Mbarara, Kiruhura, Bushenyi, Rukungiri among others.
