The film brought Loukman Ali gained countrywide recognition with the film, especially after its free release on YouTube. In 2020, he completed a feature film titled The Girl in the Yellow Jumper, but COVID-19 disruptions delayed its premiere.

What is the future of the movies Blind date and Sixteen rounds ?
Loukman Ali is set to produce 16 episodes of a web series following Blind Date and Sixteen Rounds. The series will feature top Ugandan actors and actresses.
Loukout Films, the production company behind these projects, has promised that the upcoming episodes will revolutionize how Ugandans consume and view original Ugandan movies.
