On 20th September 2021, the stage was set for one of Kampala’s highlights of the month if not the year, Canary Mugume was wedding Sasha Ferguson .
The two were wed at Miracle Centre Cathedral by Pastor Robert Kayanja and the reception at the prestigious Speke Resort Munyonyo .
The wedding was highly anticipated by critics and people overall because of the leaked wedding budget which had decoration of the wedding at an estimated 60 million Ugandan Shillings .

The wedding surprised most critics with rocks of Kampala with names most notably was Sudhir Ruparelia the richest man in the country, and several rich Indians in Kampala all were present at Speke for all the time giving the wedding higher ratings to the critics than earlier expected.
The wedding was a massive hit because it also attracted celebrities like the romantic Mukiga, Uncle Mark, Azawi and Dre Cali the artists who performed at the Event.
The wedding was estimated at a total budget of 500 million Ugandan shillings.
