Uganda Common Wealth Scholarships for the academic year 2022/2023 are out

The ministry of Education and Sports of Uganda has encouraged all suitably qualified Ugandans to apply for the Commonwealth Scholarships for the academic year 2022/2023.

The Commonwealth Scholarships are an initiative by the British government to provide fully funded scholarships to talented individuals residing with in the least developed and lower middle – income Commonwealth countries who have the potential to make an impact in the world with their great minds.

The scheme financially supports students who are eligible to Pursue postgraduate education but who don’t have the means and resources. It archives this mission by launching a range of varied programs for the students to choose from Masters and PHD levels.

Bright students who have an undergraduate honors degree and are unable to fund their higher education are legible to apply for the Commonwealth Scholarships provided that they are residents of a commonwealth country. Incase of applying to PHD programs, possession of a Master’s degree is mandatory.

All expenses of the students that will be awarded these scholarships will be covered by the British government. Expenses like tuition fees, transport costs, accommodation fee, text book allowances, feeding allowances, medical expenses, visa and travel fee.

The candidates are called to submit documents along with Commonwealth Scholarships 2022 applications now. Some of the Commonwealth Scholarships 2022 include; commonwealth PHD scholarships, commonwealth master’s scholarships, commonwealth split- site scholarships, commonwealth shared scholarships, commonwealth medical fellowships and commonwealth professional fellowships.
