Ugandans are very welcoming and very friendly. This is embedded in their culture where all people treat themselves in the same community and as for a new tourist you are also expected to be part of the entire community which is all part of the culture in the country.

In Kampala time is something very valuable and Ugandans know that. This knowledge has come at a price where in Kampala if someone tells you they are coming 5 minutes it simply means wait for them for the next 10 minutes you have to multiply the time by two.
