1. Who is Alex Muhangi?
Alex Muhangi is the proprietor and current CEO of Comedy Store the biggest comedy showcase in Uganda.
He is also a renowned comedian event’s organizer, former actor and businessman in the country. He gained his popularity from his English comedy performances which made him a darling to the high end people.

2. Where did Alex Muhangi study from?
The comedian went to Kigezi high school for his Ordinary level education where he says he studied at a very young age throughout the whole of the level education.
After his education in Kabale the Muhangi was taken to Crested Secondary school in Makindye where he continued with his education for the Advanced level. Alex Muhangi was given BIFA as a government supponsered student but he later in his second semester applied and was given mass communication at Makerere University.
3. When did Alex Muhangi start Comedy?
Alex Muhangi started comedy in 2009 while working at Fenon Events and studio where, while moving to the university he met guys in a queue in auditions for comedy with guys like Daniel Omara, Pablo, and Salvador where he told his first joke which pushed his career.

4. Where did Alex Muhangi first work?
Alex Muhangi first worked at Fenon where he was given an opportunity by Benon Mugumbya of Swangz Avenue who used to give him an opportunity and taught him in production and how to use production machines and also sponsored their further education to Johannesburg in music production.

After Comedy stand up Uganda at Theatre labonita the top talents in the competition including Salvador, Pablo Daniel Omara among others who were at the competition started mic check at Fendi´s a bar in Kampala from where they moved to theatre labonita which attracted lots of audiences to the show since it was even on TV.

The Comedy store CEO has one child with Prim Asiimwe named Jehu Muhangi who is 9 years currently whom the dad says is very dear to his heart and has been able to provide that connection in the family.
7. When did Alex Muhangi start Comedy store?
After being on a tour in the US with the IMPROV and luenell Campbell as an opening act Muhangi got enough money to kick start his own popular show Comedy store in 2016.

Comedy store a popular Ugandan comedy show was started in 2016 by alex Muhangi who its first show host in Bukoto and it had the best talent including Patick Salvador, Micheal Ouma and Mc mariachi who has a very hit show which attracted audiences from all over Kampala.

Alex Muhangi met Prim Asiimwe in 2013 where the two were friends for the first one as Alex says he was a bit skeptical to make his move until late 2014 where he asked her out on a date where they never looked back.
