Amooti Omubalanguzi real name Mujuni Allan is a Ugandan legendary comedian, performing artist radio presenter.
He gained his popularity in a hit TV comedy show Side mirror which was showing on Bukedde TV which made him a country darling in the mainstream media.

The comedian says he had named himself Bugiwugi 4VC to represent 4 Voice Changer which he later dropped after getting his new name Amooti Omubalanguzi.

He got the Nickname Amooti while at a screen test for radio samba where he wanted to appear a Munyoro so the general manager suggested Amooti which he picked and moved on with for all his time. The name also made him the highest comedy sensation during that time.
6. When did Side Mirror start?
Paddy Bitama wa invited by WBS TV during his peak and was asked by Gordon Wavamuno to make skits of their comedy acts for TV who talked to Amooti then they together came up with side mirror a hit show which was showing on WBS later moved to Bukedde TV which develop the Amarula brand to its highest.

7. How did Amarula Family start in Uganda?
The Amarula family started in 1997 where Amooti Omubalanguzi met with Paddy Bitama, Eddy Kigere who worked together at Park View in Central Kampala after their work in Nansana where they used to crack jokes for free as open acts of emcees before karaoke performances.
They continued with their work until they got an opportunity to perform at Serena Hotel which gained them popularity.
Their name Amarula came from a drink called Amarula which they always took with Paddy Bitama.
8. How did Amarula break?
After the death of Paddy Bitama there a disjoint in the group which failed the group with Messe hence Amooti after receiving little payment change his strategy to opening a new group which he called the new Amarula production a fresh group using the ideas of the old group which helped them to rebrand.

9. Where did Amooti study from?
Amooti Omubalanguzi studied at St Kizito primary school in Mpigi, he later continued to Masaka secondary School. He moved to Kisubi Technical institute where he studied a certificate in Mechanical technology which he says he didn´t practice after school.
10. Why was Amooti Omubalanguzi so successful at his time?
The legendary comedian credits his success to his fight to push new talent and looking for better ways to entertain people.
He says he has tried more than 50 new original ideas to create new content to entertain people that’s why his prime was the best performances.
