KAMPALA NIGHTLIFE, A UGANDAN TALE
The people
If there is one thing you need to know about us people in Uganda is that we love to be happy and enjoy our lives, this is what you will find at night in our Capital here in Kampala. People turn the tables all night till morning as we love to call it “paka kejenge” which means we party throughout the night until morning and we use all the party opportunities in all the places the night life you would love as a Uganda and this does not differ between the young and the poor.

The places
The one place to go to in Uganda to feel our wrath is the bars, these are always packed to the full whatever bar you go to in Kampala. The bars are the real definition of a Ugandan having his time, Here people have drinks and enjoy the music to chop on their money as we call it drinking is at the highest here to an extent that the companies in Uganda are the highest tax payers in the country.

The police
As people in Kampala our police is part of the whole cycle they try to keep us in order while we try to fulfill our destiny in during this time of the day. Throughout we end up colliding on rules of don´t drink and drive these we thank because at night while we party they try to keep us in the right order as individuals and the city at large.

The music
No way am forgetting the beautiful rhythms that keep us dancing during this happy time. The influence of music cannot be felt without the party we enjoy every night because the dancing here follows on our top artists we love including Eddy Kenzo, Azawi, Fik Fameica, Sheebah Kalungi, Spice Diana, John Blaq who are just a few of the multiple talents we have in the country.
The events
No weekend in Uganda passes in Uganda with no big entertainment event from music concert, house parties bar events, the events are the summary of the weekend to us. This is where all the different factors are all summed up with beer, music, perfomances, DJs, emcees all work hand in hand to make us the special people.

The bars in Kampala
Bars are the center of all the activities of the night as all people regardless of social status on weekend come here for the real Ugandan experience. Bars alone are the major maker of night life in Kampala and visiting Uganda without its bar is one you miss if came here in our country the pearl of Africa.
The performances
Ugandan music is enjoyed more in this life more than it´s streamed on all digital platforms therefore our music artist decided to have this life with us and share the experience with the fans by gracing them with these night performances. We enjoy this so much as musicians make more money in the bars in Uganda than on streams so it´s a win for us.
The beer
Having mentioned that beer companies are the second tax payer in Uganda there is little to say about us and our ka beer. Sipping on alcohol is one of the pillars to this tale, Ugandans who understand the drill will tell you that without the beer there is nothing you are doing.
Beer gets the whole party going.
The youth
From MUBS (Makerere Business School), MakerereUniversity, Kyambogo University, these are just are a few of the different institutions in Kampala that make this experience the life experience you would love to have in the coutry. These after the weekday’s lectures set up to “Kusimbula” (move to the parties for enjoyment) who fill the places bring the real party to life to put their minds right for the next week at work.

The dancing
Ugandans love dancing this is embedded in our DNA and the seed is planted while we are still young from our performances on speech days on nursery, kindergarten and primary schools not forgetting the secondary Dankes (school dance) on prom and other dances held in celebrations at secondary school.
The fruits are what you will get in bars in Uganda, here in Kampala dancing is part of the culture and you don´t want to miss on this life of the party.
