The Sex Education Gap in Uganda
There are very many misconceptions of sex education not only in Uganda but also in Africa and in the world at large. The main misconception being that sex education is only the study of how to have sex, something that has been the main barrier to the improvement of the topic in families in Uganda.

This has resulted in various problems in the country including increased victims of HIV/AIDS this which is increasing in Uganda mainly in the CAPITAL Kampala and Wakiso the most populous district in Uganda

The gap has also increased teenage pregnancies as Children do not know how to handle themselves and prevent theses pregnancies.
Remedies
The government has however tried to decrease on the gap with its different government measures including the various AIDS remedies including PIASCO which is the Presidential Initiative to fight The Spread of AIDS. The Aids campaign together with the Kabaka(King) of Buganda together with the Government.
The solutions are however geared towards the preventions and control of the spread of HIV/ AIDS and have neglected other parts of the topic including delay sex for teenagers.
The gap of a proper sex frame work has been exploited by internet pornography which instead spoils youths as they turn to the internet looking for solutions for their sexual questions.

This Gap has also been used by wrong doers who take advantage of these youths especially teenagers resulting into rampant teenagers’ pregnancies and increased transmission of Sexually transmitted diseases.
Government together with Ugandans are advised to come up with a way tackling the vice.
The government should focus increasing sensitization of the parents and focusing on families to inform them of the advantages of such conversations with the parents with their children.
The government should also increase their focus on schools and Education systems and these have proven to be the most efficient in the deliverance of the message to children and because children in Uganda and East Africa a as a whole spend at least 60% of their time at Education Institutions.
