What do You know about Kasese?
Kasese has been long been in the news for several reasons some known and others uncommon.
These include the 2016 unfortunate Clash of the Kingdom guards together with the UPDF of the Kingdom of His Majesty Omusinga(King) Charles Wesley MUMBERE which happened on the 26th and 27th of November 2016.

And also the Kasese politics which has been shared by both the opposition and the ruling government as in 2016 it was taken by the opposition and in 2021 it was won by the NRM government.

Most commonly however was the Clash between the Kingdom guards and the UPDF which ended up in sorrow as there was loss of over 8 lives several over 200 men arrested and remanded and lastly was the arrest of the Omusinga of Rwenzururu.
It has been now 6 years since the capture of the leader and there is no information and updates from the government about it.
The residents however above all are demanding for the release of their king from the Government Custody including the cousin of the king Stuart Mubaraka who knelt down on Camera to request for the release of their king.
