Kyambogo officially apologizes to Moslem female student and Fraternity

 

 

In a meeting hosted with the Uganda Moslem council together with Kyambogo University administration for the case concerning a female student who was forced to remove her veil before accessing one of the University premises.

The student who going for one of the activities at the university was force by the guard to take of her veil as she try to access the premises at the University.

The Moslem fraternity pushed the university administration and cautioned them against this disrespect that was at the University.

In a meeting attended by the University vice Chancellor and various Moslem leaders the University officially apologized promising to never allow such an action by the institution.

 

The meeting also cautioned all various Education institutions about the disrespect of Dignity and religion of the various stake holders which was approved by the Vice Chancellor of Kyambogo University Eli Katunguka Rwakishaya in the meeting with the Moslems association of the University in Uganda.
