Spice Diana depises the Janzi Awards
5 days after the first edition of the Janzi Academy Awards in Uganda, debate has intensified after singer Spice Diana made a statement on the Awards asking which Award Eddy Kenzo the AFRIMA East African has won in the awards which was questioning the credibility of awarding the Male and Female artist of the year at the awards.

The award which was won by Pallaso after his Fantastic performance in the year and Azawi who had the best Album in 2021 in Uganda,

However Spice Diana questioned the system saying that why would they give fans to vote for the Janzi if they were not to use the people´s votes to decide the Awards in the year.
However the Academy went in to mention that the fans votes only contributed only a little percentage less than 15% to the winner of the Award. This is meant to engage the public and peeak their taste of craft but the Award s are highly decided by the Academy which holds for the winner of the Award in their industry.
