What is happening in Kayunga?
Kayunga has now been on all major News cover in Uganda including the biggest stories. It has been the biggest of the by-election in Uganda on all ones that are by done as part of the elections that general elections that were in Uganda in January 2021. The presidential elections were won by His Excellency the President of Uganda.

The elections in Kayunga are causing tension in the region as Presidential and Member of Parliament held in January Which even caused one of the misfortunes which led to death of over 30 people who died during the protests where all military organizations were deployed in Kampala.

Now in Kayunga there is an election of Local Council 5 (LC5) where they will be voting for the Local council 5 Chairperson who would be replacing Ffefeka who died I a controversial death which they police confirmed was a suicide though locals said something else had led to his death.
The election with Candidates including that of NUP Harriet Nakwedde who is one of the strong candidates in the elections in her campaigns.
The intense completion with Harriet has caused the untense the youth excitement which the Ugandan police says is not something to worry about though people in the region are worried about.
