What is the Parish Model Uganda? Explained by Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabanja
The Ugandan government through the leadership of the longtime leader President Y.K Museveni has been coming up with various plans to boost the Ugandan economy through its various plans.

Most commonly has been the NAADS (National AgriculturalAdvisory Services) which focused improving farming in Uganda through replacement of indigenous breeds of animals and crops with exotic and improved breeds of farming which was introduced by the government in 2001 by The NAADS act 2001.

Then later there was introduction of Operation Wealth Creation in 2013 by the President whose role was to enhance household participation in commercial agricultural production through community mobilization, equitable and timely distribution of agricultural inputs, and facilitation of agricultural production chains. This is according to the goal stated by the organization which is led by the military in Uganda to limit the rate of embezzlement of funds by the President.
Then in 2021, there is a new effort which will proceed until 2022 where it is to launch officially to determine which the government has termed the Parish Model which was also introduced to uphold households targeting people who are still in the subsistence sector to move them to he money economy.

The program is going to be spear headed by the Ugandan Prime Minister Honorable Robinah Nabbanja who will lead the Project that was envisioned by The President Museveni.
The Program according to the government is set to improve house holds through focusing on all groups of people who are involved in the same economic activity which the President termed Emyooga (Ankole word referring to group of people doing the same economic activity)
