Youth struggle to move Dubai and Middle East for jobs.

 

Congestion at the Passport offices in Kampala have seen several Youth move to Mbale immigration offices to get passports to get tickets to help them get passports easier in order for them to get trips to move to the Middle East where they would get jobs easier in order to work and survive the Unemployment in Uganda they say.

This massive travels by the youths started to intensify in Uganda in 2018 where a big number of Uganda´s is moving to the Middle East countries looking for employment. This was because they say there was no employment in Uganda where they could get jobs al the government had not taken the effort to help them get jobs.

This included both graduates and illiterates who had not studied. This is due to the low levels of access to education in Uganda and also the kind of education which pushes for cramming and theoretical part than practical and skills.

The government of Uganda however says there has been several efforts through its various ministries to tackle both unemployment and improve in the education system and declined our efforts to give comments on what it is doing to tackle the topic of the rise of youths leaving the country.
