Frank Malingumu Gashumba is a Ugandan political commentator, human rights activist, businessman, journalist and motivational speaker. He is one of the most respected political commentators in Uganda with a career spanning over 20 years in journalism.

Frank Gashumba started working in 1996 at Letter Day Saints Church before opening Mali Mixed Farm in Masaka then Mali group of Companies then Sarafina Safaris a tour company with hiring as its main core service. Then Gashumba opened Bbunda Holdings which deal in mineral exploration in 2000s.

Frank Gashumba was arrested in 2011 and convicted in February of 2011 for accounts of attempting to fraud 178 Ugandan million Shillings from DFCU Bank in Uganda. Where he was fined 1 million Ugandan shillings in costs.
In October of the same year he was arrested over fraud to Turkish Company based in Uganda at detained at CPS where he was later released due to lack of evidence in the case
In 2017 Frank Gashumba was arrested by Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence with his brother Innocent Kasumba with Fake Passports being recovered from his home before being released and crimes later dropped.
