Edwin Katamba also popularly known as Mc Kats is a Ugandan legendary emcee, media personality including Television show host of After5 on NBS Television in Uganda and principal founder of Music Label Kats Music and also founder of King of the Mic show which is held in Uganda.
2. Where was Mc Kats born?
Mc Kats was born in 1984 in Kamwokya a Kampala Uganda suburb. This is where he lived with both his parents throughout his childhood before later moving on his own a grown up young man.

3. Where did Mc Kats study from?
Mc Kats studied at Namilango Primary School for his Primary Leaving Examination before joining Busoga College for his Ugandan Ordinary Level Education. Katamba the continued Kitante High and then Makerere High for his Uganda Certificate of Education.
Kats also studied at UMCAT School of Journalism where he attained a Certificate in Journalism and Mass Communication.

Mc Kats has 6 Children who are equally divided in sex with 3 daughters and 3 boys which the emcee says he is proud of and are all under his care as a parent.

Mc Kats dated Fille a popular Ugandan singer who was under his Music Management Company Kats Music where they were together in as up and down relationship lasting for 5 years before they separated after various media scandals in their relationship. In 2019 Mc Kats launched his personal show to celebrate his career as an emcee titled KING OF THE MIC which was a hit with tickets selling out throughout the first week of their release. Season 2 was held just at the end of the lock down in Uganda which broadcasted live on NBS TV which focused on the theme of Fighting the HIV/AIDS stigma in Uganda which was also a smash in viewership.

After the expiry of his contract at NTV Uganda Mc Kats decided to join NBS TV where he was offered a new show which is known as NBS After5 whhere he works with Douglas Lwanga, Sheila Gashumba as Show Hosts with DJ Roja and DVJ Mercy Pro as main Show DJs. This was launched in 2018 with the Fatansitic four before the Sheila Gashumba joined the Show in 2021.

After working at WBS TV Uganda and gaining experience through his television career Mc Kats later was offered an opportunity at NTV Uganda where he worked for several years to cement his career as one of the top show hosts at NTV at Xposed for over 8 years before leaving the TV station.
10. Why did Mc Kats reveal that he was HIV positive?
Mc Kats revealed that he was HIV positive in 2019 where he publicly confessed that he had got the virus during his youth while partying as an Mc.
He however revealed that he had stated he status to help fight the stigma being faced by many other victims and was willing to continue to work with the Uganda AIDS Commission to help fights the HIV/AIDS stigma.

11. Who are Mc Kats´ parents?
Born in Kamwokya a surb of Kampala in Uganda, Kats parents are his father Hajji Sula Lwanga and mother Pastor Juliet Lubanga who are both Ugandans.
12. Does Mc Kats own a house?
Mc Kats a residential Vanished House in Kampala where he live with his children. The house was finished in 2018 where he later moved in with all his family and Children
