Taxi´s in Uganda fully reopen with controversy

 

 

Following the presidential directive to open economy in his speech on 31th December 2022. The public transport means have opened in Uganda including Boda bodas, buses, and taxis as a way of recovering their businesses back.

Taxis which are one of the highest used public means in Uganda have also opened to fully capacity sitting which was intended by the government as they planned to open.

However prices are still high in the whole country posing the question of how should the government restore prices back to the normally used prices by the government.

Another controversy has been on the issue of covid19 vaccination cards in which most people do not have their vaccination cards with other members having their cards for vaccination which disturbs most drivers and conductor as their service Is limited to those cards and those that carry them which has limited freedom of the travelers.
