After being in power since 1986 President Yoweri Museveni is estimated to be a known net worth of 500 millions dollars according to a 2022 research carried out by hardrockmedia.org exclusive research by the research media company from January 3, 2022 to January 9, 2022 in a report to cover the richest politicians in Uganda from 2011 to 2021.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has been Ugandan president since 1986 after the liberation war of 1986 where the military general Museveni led the National Resistance Army to capture power from the unstable leadership in Uganda.
General Museveni started the formation of the National ResistanceArmy (NRA) in 1980 after he was defeated in a general elections which he and his fellow colleagues called unfair elections which prompted them to capture guns and start their liberation front against the unfair treatment by then Ugandan President Apollo Milton Obote.

Other property owned by the long serving President has however been kept away from the public eye with property in the main capital Kampala which is the country´s main business district and the richest city in Uganda.

The property mainly includes real estate which is estimated to be over 400 million dollars with other property secretly guarded in ownership by the family which does not disclose ownership in name by the public ownership since 2004 in Uganda.
