The abridged curriculum is meant to guide teachers to help learned o master the fundamentals of the previous class they has skipped to their current classes covering all the fundamental topics and calculations according to Dr. Denis Mugimba who was speaking about he ministry’s plan for education reformation in the new year.

Note that the abridged curriculum is not a new curriculum but rather a reorganization of the current curriculum to fit for the students who only studied one term in the previous academic year.

This will not require a seminar for teachers to use but rather an adaptation using their current education curriculum.

As part of the ministry plan all children aged six years and above would be required to go ton primary one regardless of whether they attended nursery and Kindergarten education.

This all means that no examination for promotion to other classes are to be held by the any school for any of the classes by the learners for their progress.
