1. Who is Cindy?
Cinderella Sanyu popularly known as Cindy or Cindy Sanyu is a Uganda singer, recording artist and Actress. She is one of the first members of the popular legendary trio Blu*3. She was awarded best Female artist in East Africa in 2016 AFRIMMA Awards.

Cindy was born on 28 August 1985 in Kampala the Uganda capital where the singer studied from throughout her education.

Cindy Sanyu started singing in 2001 while she was 16 years old participating in the Capital Radio All Stars Talent Search where she came third which made her be recognized by legendary producer Steve Jean who worked with bher on a new journey in the Coca Cola Pop Stars Competion which led to the formation of Blu*3 after the completion with the help of the producer. This is where she started her music career winning various awards a a trio with 2005 Kisma Musics Awards, Kora Awards

Cindy left Blu*3 in 2008because she wnted more creative freedom as an artist where she went on to persue her own personal career as an artist.

Cindy started acting in 2015 but would make her big screen debut in 2017 with her debut movie Bella wich was released in threatres in October 2017 which featured popular actors Abby Mukiibi Nkaaga anfd Micheal Wawuyo Junior.

Cindy was voted the President of the biggest music association in Uganda in 2021 after the resignation of former President Ykee Benda who had served the organisation for over two year since the launch of its first official leadership with Ykee Benda the President AND Cindy Sanyu the Vice President.
