Blu 3 was a Ugandan popular female band which consisted of a trio of acts including Jackie Chandiru, Cinderella Sanyu and Lillian Mbabazi. The group was formed in 2004 and later separated in 2010 while they took a break. BLU 3 stands for Beautiful ladies from Uganda.

The Blu 3 were founded in 2004 during the Coca cola Popstar Competitions where the three girls including Lillian Mbabazi, Jackie Chandiru and Cindy Sanyu joined together to form the band which competed in the competition.

Blu 3 produced two top selling albums in Uganda includingHitaji in 2004 after it had been formed which include popular hits Hitaji and Frisky. and Burrn in 2007 after the departure of Cinderella Sanyu who broke away from the group.

Blu 3 band group separated in 2010 after the group decided to take a break after it had been working tirelessly for over 6 years since it was started in 2004.

The Blu 3 won the2005 Kisima Music Award for Best Group and best music Video, the Channel O Music Awards for Best East African Video for their video Frisky. The trio also won 2 Awards in the 2009 MTV Africa Music Awards for their performance and Best Group awards.
