He is known for being one of the leaders of the 2017 People Power online crash where the people power movement took over the Ugandan online activity with the camp’s influence. He left the National Unity Platform in 2020 and Joined NRM.

The Blogger says he changed because of the injustices in the People Power movement.

Ashburg kato met President Museveni the President of Uganda on 18th May 2020 at his residential home in Rwakitura where he resides at his cattle farm. The blogger was gifted 3 cows from the farm by the President after him peaching his Blogging organization the Ghetto initiative which was to support Museveni in the 2021 General Elections.
