Abbey Musinguzi popularly known as Abtex is a Uganda Music promoter, Events promoter and Businessman. He is the CEO and Chairman of Abtex Promotions which is one of the biggest promotions company in Uganda with Balaam Events.

Abtex was born on 7 July 1970 in Masaka district where he grew up with his parents after they had moved from Kabwohe present day Sheema district.

Abtex ‘s tribe is a Munyakole by tribe with Abtex real name Abbey Musinguzi with origins from Kabarole District in Ankole region Western Uganda.

Abtex is the promoter and manager of populr female artist Serena Bata in which the two have a mutual relationship with Abtex dening any rumors if an intimate relationship.
