HiPipo Music Awards or simply HMA are one of the biggest and longest Awards in Music entertainment and production in Uganda. They are one of the few awards respected by artists in Uganda.
The HiPipo Music Award History of the HiPipo Awards
HiPipo Music Awards were founded in 2012 by the Kampala Music Critics Association which held a meeting at Hotel Africana in February 2012 before the Awards were later launched in October of 2012 with the first Award ceremony in November of 2012.
The HiPipo Awards dominated Uganda from 2013 to 2017 as the Biggest Awards in Uganda with the Buzz Teenz Awards as the biggest music Awards in Uganda for the Decade.
