David Bahati is a Ugandan politician and Senior accountant. He is the State minister of Finance for Planning in the Cabinet of Uganda where he appointed by President Museveni.

David Bahati was born on 8 June 1973 in Ndorwa West in Kablae in Kigezi Region in Western Uganda. He was later moved to Kampala by his parents for further education where he graduated from Makerere University.
