Reaching over 9 NBA finals Lebron James was the Best player in the NBA for over 12 years. Lebron a child prodigy was destiny for greatest with his games in High school streaming on national TV. He was able to influence decisions in both management and on the court with this superior control never seen before.

Jordan is as everyone can agree the Most dominant player to ever touch the ball who could demolish his opponents who who challenge him influence multiple generations of NBA players to play the game with his skill and swagger.
The lists that are not statistical are a bit subjective because as Humans we love to be listened to and to share our opinions on topics we are passionate about.
