In writing about the college life in our upcoming collective short titled College; 25 introspections I interviewed a college Moslem leader Kamuli Sadat.
He shared with us his introspective the core principles and struggles of being a Moslem in a college setting.
Is interview went as follows.
- Do you think believing in Allah is the truth?
I don’t believe it’s the Truth… I Know it’s the truth..
- Does it disturb you that you believe in God and other people don’t?
Ummmh.. Yeah …
Like how can you know the truth and you leave the world to live without it knowing it.. it baffles me..
- Do you think knowing Allah and the truth makes a better person than others?
Yeah definitely.. I am a far better person.. I imagine.. The Peace,
It gives a lot of Peace..
- Do you think doing Allah’s work at the University affects the way people look at you, if so how do they look at you?
Ummh.. I think so..
Of course some people I would say over 30% ..
Don’t think what Am doing is the truth. Or like just there lacking the truth.. There ius some from some of colleagues.
- Where do you think you are coming short in your journey with Allah?
I think sharing.. the truth.. I know Allah.. But not sharing with those that don’t know is a big short coming… Maybe.. not Maybe..
I want to do ,.. and I should do it definitely..
And another think is understanding Allah and his commandments..
Yeah
Knowing and understanding further the Quran.. And it’s teachings
- What do you really love want people to know about Allah?
The one.. let me see.. Yeah..
There is only Allah to praise and it is a sin to praise other gods..
People should know that
