YO TV App is a Ugandan television live streaming and video on demand application which focuses on providing local content at the cheapest price in the country.
Launched in February of 2020 the YO TV also provides video on demand including original Ugandan content in kibanda xpress and international hit movies for rent to its customers.

2. Who owns the YO TV app?
The application is owned by the parent company MTN Uganda limited which was the first to launch the app in the bid to bring livee TV to the youthful population with phones and improve Ugandan service.
3. What is Kibanda Xpress in YO TV App?
Kibanda Xpress is a service in YO TV which provides ready to watch original Ugandan movies at a renting price of 1000 Ugandan shillings which is rent for a full day of watching. The initiative was started to support original made Uganda content and provide them with revenue to elevate their productions following the BUBU project.

4. How many TV channels does YO TV have?
The streaming platform has 53 channels including local and international television channels. Local channels include Spark TV, NTV, UBC, MAGIC 1 TV, Star TV, u24 TV, BBS TV, BABA TV, FAMILY TV, Delta TV, STV, KS TV among many other local channels in the country which covers over 90% of Ugandan content producers. International channels include BBC 1, Bloomberg Europe, Al Jazeera, France 24, CGTN, TNA Wrestling plus other few international channels on the platform.

5. How many Radio stations dos YO TV have?
The platform has 45 total radio stations including local and international radio stations provided by the platform. These includes high profile radios in the country among which include Sanyu FM, CBS FM, Simba FM, Akaboozi radio, Radio one, Capital FM, Beat FM, Dembe FM, Radio city and Radio 4.
