1. Who is Mathias Mpuuga?
Mathias Mpuuga is a Uganda politician, teacher lawyer and the Current leader of Opposition in Parliament and Deputy President of NUP party for Buganda region (central region).
Mpuuga is also the elected Member of Parliament Masaka Munacipality Constituency elected for general elections 2011, 2016, and 2021.

3. Who are Mathias Mpuga parents?
Mpuugawas born to father Vincent Nsamba and his mother Gertrute Nsamba whom he stayed with throughout his childhood before moving on with his education.

4. Where did Mathias Mpuuga study from?
Mathias Mpuuga studied from Kyamanda Boys Demonstration School, competing his Primary Leaving Educationin 1987. He then joined Nakyenyi Secondary Schoool where he received his Uganda Certificate of Education UCE for his Ordinary Level education. He continued at Nakyenyi finishing with Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education.
Mpuuga did his college at Makerere University where he studied a Bachelor´s Degree in Education. He would later join Makerere University for a Bachelor’s degree in Laws in 2016.

Mathias Mpuuga was appointed the Minister for the Youth in 2008 in Buganda Kingdom by the Kingdom leadership appointed him, which position he served in up to 2010 where he resigned to pursue elective politics.

Mpuuga served as the managing director of Datamine Technical Business School from 2003 serving up to 2011 doubling as the Minister of Youth in BugNDA Kingdom in 2008 to the year 2010.
He had also taught at Uganda Martyrs High School in alaubaga in1998 to 2003 which he left after being appointed Resident Director of Masaka Town College.

Mathias Mpuuga was voted Member of Parliament in 2011 in the General Elections under the Democratic Party, again in 2016 under the same party and recently on 14th January 2021 under the National Unity Platform.

Mathias Mpuuga joined NUP (National Unity Platform) towards the 2021 general elections as part of 10 Members who were under the Democratic Party leadership called the DP BLOC shifted away from Nobert Mao.
The DP Bloc members included Joseph Ssewungu, Medard Ssegona, Betty Nambooze, Moses Kasibante, Ssentongo Robinah, Veronica Namaganda and Florence Namayanja
